The Match International Women's Fund partnered with The Colony Project to create an awareness campaign centred around the injustices and limitations women face globally.
International Women's Day receives a great deal of attention in Canada, but we often forget the inequalities women face daily in other parts of the world; ones we aren't exposed to regularly. With this insight, we created a disruptive message to attract attention to this global issue. In the form of an online quiz, titled, "How Many Laws Have You Broken Today", users were able to see the human rights that aren't granted to women in other parts of the world.
The campaign had a global reaction with 457,000 quiz respondents from 100 countries, exceeding the response goal by 2209%. The success of the campaign was able to effectively and emotionally address a human rights issue that hit home for many audiences.
